“Russian Sports Prototype Sets New Speed Record on Ice, Surpassing 47-Year Old Milestone”

The Campa Evolute sports prototype recently attempted to set a new speed record on an ice rink during the “Days of Speed on the Baykal Ice” competition in Russia. This electric vehicle reached a speed of 186,248 kilometers per hour, surpassing the previous record set 47 years ago. The record has been officially recognized and submitted to the Russian Automobile Federation for discussion. The Campa 2 Evolute, built by specialist Stanislav Lijin, is designed for speed and maneuverability on a small surface area.

The sports prototype features a sled-like structure with a motor driven by roller skates and two sliding runners. It also has symmetrically positioned skids for stability. With a traditional electric motor, transmission system, and power converter, the vehicle can reach a maximum power output of 60 horsepower and a torque of 120 Nm. Weighing 750 kilograms, it competed against the previous record holder, an electric vehicle from 1977.

Meanwhile, researchers at Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary conducted a study on long-term couples. Using a similar method to studying new couples or pairs of animals when they are introduced, they found that couples who have lived together for a long time exhibit the lowest level of aggression. The results of this research were published in the International Society for Applied Ethology journal.
