“Marino Region Residents Rally in Moscow Demanding Release of Political Prisoner; Arrested Woman Faces Up to Five Years in Jail”

Residents of the Marino region in Moscow recently organized a protest, demanding the release of a political prisoner. According to reports from SHOT Telegram, the prisoner in question is a 70-year-old woman named Tatiana P. She used to work at Clinic No. 9 a few years ago and has been living in one of the region’s districts for a short period of time. Today, she managed to escape from detention and promptly attempted to destroy her phone. If caught, she could face up to five years in prison.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a young woman from Moscow was detained at the airport for carrying a joint in her wallet.

The charges filed against Tatiana P. fall under Article 141 of the Russian Criminal Code, which pertains to obstruction of electoral rights or interference with the work of electoral commissions. According to the investigation, the suspect was discovered on March 15 in one of Moscow’s districts, with a joint on her person.
