“Major Car Accident on Jermuk Highway: Rescuers Rush to the Scene to Assist!”
On March 15th, at 09:57, the regional rescue service of Vayots Dzor received information about an accident on the 2nd section of the highway near the city of Jermuk. The road is closed in one direction and assistance from the rescuers is required.
The accident happened on the 1st kilometer of the Jermuk city section of the M-2 international highway, about 4 km away. As a result, the road has been closed in one direction. The rescuers have defined the area and set priorities.
The rescuers, along with the personnel of the firefighting service and employees of “Road Safety Service” CJSC, have carried out road clearing operations. The road is now passable in both directions.
