“Diesel Prices Set to Surge as Crude Oil Costs Rise Globally”

Starting Friday, the prices of diesel fuel products will be increased due to the rise in the prices of base oil products since November. In London’s ICE Futures, the price of Brent crude oil for May delivery has reached $85.23 per barrel, which is a decrease of $0.19 (0.22%) compared to the previous period’s closing price. However, on Thursday, the prices of futures contracts increased by $1.39 (1.7%) and reached $85.42 per barrel. Meanwhile, in the NYMEX electronic trading platform, WTI crude oil prices have dropped by $0.17 (0.21%) to $81.09 per barrel. Despite this drop, the futures contracts have increased by $1.54 (1.9%) and reached $81.26 per barrel in the last period.
