“Breakthrough in Peacekeeping Efforts: Audience Delivery Marks Turning Point in Armenia-Azerbaijani Ceasefire”

The implementation of audience delivery to the Armenia-Azerbaijani border has become an essential principle of the ceasefire. During the meeting of the National Assembly on March 15, the Minister of Foreign Affairs presented the government’s program (2021-2026) implementation process and evaluated the results for 2023. The spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, announced this in a press conference held during the session of the Foreign Relations Committee.

According to Mirzoyan, the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) is participating in ongoing security issues in Armenia for the first time as an institution. The head of the Armenian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) emphasized that the audience delivery has significantly reduced the implementation of the ceasefire. It has become evident that this delivery has become a norm for the ceasefire.

Furthermore, he mentioned that the first political and security talks on city and protection issues began in 2023. Two meetings have taken place in Yerevan and Brussels, where statements regarding the current situation in Northern Caucasus were made.
