“Ruling Party Members Accused of Abusing Public Resources: Scandal Erupts as Spokesperson for Minister of Defense Enrolls in Medical School for Free”

The “Hraparak” newspaper has reported that members of the ruling party are utilizing public resources to their advantage, attempting to solve various issues. It has come to our attention that Lusine Badalyan, the spokesperson for the Minister of Defense and a historian by profession, decided a few years ago to gain new expertise in the medical field. In 2021, she applied to the Faculty of General Medicine at the National Institute of Healthcare, which is typically reserved for healthcare professionals and officials. However, what raises concern is that Badalyan managed to attend the medical school without paying the 1 million dram tuition fee. Apparently, her acquaintance, Narek Zeynalyan, the head of the Commission on Healthcare of the NA, wrote a letter requesting a reduction in the tuition fees, and he himself has been studying at the medical school for free for a year. This kind of behavior is considered corruption in most civilized countries, and therefore, the Anti-Corruption Body should initiate an investigation. The AMU has confirmed our information and stated that Badalyan was exempted from paying tuition fees for three years due to her involvement in the Healthcare and Social Affairs Standing Committee of the NA and her contribution to the development of healthcare legislation.
