“Mantashyan Launches INFOTOUR Program to Boost Armenia’s Tourism Sector with International Support”

Mantashyan organization is launching a new program with the support and funding of international organizations from about 10 countries. The program aims to promote the development of the hospitality and tourism sectors in Armenia. In Armenia, the INFOTOUR program will be implemented to actively promote Armenia as a tourist destination among international tour operators and tourist industry organizations.

“We have invited and financed representatives of tourist organizations from Baltic countries to get acquainted with the opportunities of Armenia. This initiative will not only attract tourist groups to Armenia but also contribute to the development of the HoReCa field. It will create opportunities for Armenian businesses to actively work with foreign markets,” said Vahe Mirakayan, President of “Mantashyan” Business Association.

Representatives of nine leading international HoReCa industry experts are currently in Armenia and have already held B2B meetings on the development of the hospitality industry. Catalin Ciller, representative of Air Baltic, believes that these connections will expand cooperation between Baltic countries and Armenia.

“We hope that by bringing tour operators from Baltic countries to Armenia, we will expand routes from Baltic countries to Armenia. Additionally, we hope to successfully operate direct flights from Riga to Yerevan, attracting many tourists to discover Armenia,” said the representative of Air Baltic.

The program is planned to be ongoing, with plans to invite representatives from other fields in the future. The purpose of the “Mantashyan” organization’s cooperation is to establish active connections between business partners from different countries. This will contribute to the development of inter-business relationships and increase the indexes of the Armenian economy.
