Armenia’s Minister of Justice, Karen Karapetyan, welcomed Teyeri Riboyan, the executive director of the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) in Armenia, along with representatives of the organization. This visit is significant for the ICRC’s work in addressing humanitarian issues in Armenia and the region.

During the meeting, Minister Karapetyan discussed the implementation of activities aimed at protecting the rights of individuals affected by the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as efforts to safeguard the national interests of the Armenian Armed Forces. These initiatives are part of the Ministry’s program.

Teyeri Riboyan expressed gratitude for the established cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the ICRC. The participants also discussed the ongoing partnership in the field of criminal justice and explored possibilities for expanding collaboration.

The meeting also focused on the continuation of joint cooperation. Deputy Minister of Justice Artyom Sujyan and Deputy Minister of Justice Heghine Engoyan, representing the Ministry of Justice, were also present at the meeting.
