“Armenian National Security Service Busts Woman Involved in Illegal Trafficking, Seizes Heroin Worth Over 20 Grams”

The employees of the Operational Department of the Central Office of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia recently received operational information regarding a woman involved in illegal trafficking. It was necessary to transfer her to a detention facility using an operational package.

Upon receiving this information, on March 12th, the employees directly observed the woman near the National Security Service building. In their investigation, they discovered a package containing a substance similar to heroin, weighing 4.19 grams, along with two bags resembling those commonly used for heroin, with a total weight of 19.28 grams.

The woman in question, identified as G.G., admitted to being responsible for transferring the aforementioned package as part of her illegal trafficking activities. The operational unit employees have interrogated her and, along with the package, she has been handed over to the regional investigative division of the National Security Service in Ararat province, Armenia.
