“Armenian Government Announces: Cash Bonuses to Benefit Villagers, All Funds to be Transferred via Bank Cards”

No cash bonuses will be given, as the entire amount will be distributed to the villagers through their bank cards. This decision was made during a government meeting on March 14, chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss allocating 50% of the expenses for infrastructure development to the villagers.

The Prime Minister raised the concern that villagers without bank cards should still be able to access the funds. He emphasized the importance of finding a solution to ensure that the subsidy money reaches every villager. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan explained that debit card holders would receive an amount ranging from 1000-2000 drams.

Pashinyan also discussed the possibility of using the subsidy money towards a specific purpose and preventing its withdrawal. Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan noted that exceptions could be made, but changes would need to be made to the law and the banks would have to comply. The Prime Minister expressed his willingness to make urgent changes to the law if necessary to ensure the funds are used appropriately.

The government’s decision to allocate funds for infrastructure development in the villages of Armenia is a positive step towards improving the living conditions of the villagers. By distributing the funds through bank cards, the government aims to streamline the process and ensure transparency. The Prime Minister’s commitment to addressing concerns of villagers without bank cards shows a dedication to inclusive growth and development. With proper implementation and cooperation from the banks, this initiative can have a significant impact on the lives of villagers across the country.
