In Gyumri, a 10-year-old child has not attended school for 7 months and was found under extreme conditions. The child has been a victim of domestic violence, as her mother was taking her aggression out on the child. This information was reported by the caretaker, Zaruhie Hovhannisyan.

“The child has been playing video games excessively, staying up all night, only closing her eyes for a few hours. She has not received proper meals, consuming junk food and sweets, drinking Coca-Cola or similar soft drinks. She has come to me, traumatized and emotionally exhausted, with severe psychological problems,” the caretaker wrote.

With each case I deal with, I realize that this is not the last one, and I will continue to encounter more severe cases of child abuse or government neglect, especially from the perspective of state institutions and specifically government organizations.

Where are the government institutions, with what are they involved? How did they let a child’s life resemble a dark basement?” the caretaker wrote.
