Prime Minister Pashinyan suggests foreign involvement in Benzene leak, raising questions about Artsakh’s control
The benzene leak in Stepanakert was attributed to the removal of the hazardous substance from a warehouse, as confirmed by a spokesperson from the Emergency Situations Ministry. On March 12, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made remarks in Mamulis village, highlighting the involvement of foreign actors in covert operations and their support. Pashinyan also noted that the people of Artsakh had lost control during the process of accessing benzene from the warehouses, prompting the declaration of a state of emergency. In response to the inability of Armenian resources to bring about the desired change, Russian forces were brought in from Karabakh to facilitate the necessary transformation in the Republic of Armenia. These ongoing processes have yet to reach completion.
