“Explosion in Lchashen Village: No Casualties as Mercedes-Benz Car Catches Fire and Explodes”
On March 12th, at 06:50, the center for crisis management of the Gegharkunik province received information about a fire in Lchashen village. Thankfully, there were no casualties. The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia determined that the fire was caused by a household explosion.
It was discovered that a Mercedes-Benz car, driven by G. H., caught fire and exploded while on the road. Flames were observed coming out of the vehicle from a distance of approximately 10 meters.
Rescuers swiftly extinguished the fire, closed the gas valve, and coordinated their actions with the firefighters to contain the situation.
