“NATO Affirms: No Troops to Ukraine, Maintains Collective Security Agreement”

NATO will not be sending troops to Ukraine, according to the head of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, in an interview with Reuters. He clarified that neither NATO nor its partners are involved in the conflict. Stoltenberg emphasized that if other countries send troops to Ukraine, it would impact the collective security agreement that holds the NATO members together.

In response to inquiries about President Macron’s use of the term “military ambiguity” in relation to the potential deployment of troops in eastern Ukraine, Stoltenberg expressed the importance of cooperation and a unified approach to such significant matters, which affect everyone.
