“Head of Artsakh Delegation, Vardan Oskanyan, Makes International Strides in Defending Rights: Publish Edition Reports”

The “Publish” edition reports that Vardan Oskanyan, the head of the international delegation on the issue of Artsakh, and several members of the delegation have actively participated in discussions and meetings with Armenian and European political figures, as well as representatives of international organizations. This delegation was established by the Artsakh parliament and its purpose is to advocate for the rights of the people of Artsakh and other human rights.

The representatives of Artsakh are eagerly awaiting the return of Oskanyan to Armenia in mid-March, when he will provide an update on the work accomplished. It is known that Oskanyan has already restored diplomatic ties without the involvement of foreign politicians during the interregnum, meeting with representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

According to reports, Oskanyan had three meetings within three days. Currently, the delegation is in discussions with legal experts to implement internal organizational changes. One of the most pressing concerns highlighted in the publication is that the Civil Contract party believes that the delegation’s status is not adequate and feels the need to congratulate the delegation on obtaining an international mandate. Despite numerous health issues associated with this activity, Vardan Oskanyan continues to finance this work using his personal funds.
