According to the Iranian border guards, a group of smugglers armed with hand grenades recently crossed the border into a neighboring country. As a result, some of their weapons and ammunition were left behind, as reported by the Mehr news agency. Several members of the group were injured and managed to flee to the neighboring country. The commander of the border guards further stated that a significant amount of smuggling equipment, including narcotics, weapons, communication devices, and drones, were confiscated.
