Yerevan’s mayor, Levon Hovhannisyan, has given the green light for the construction of 16 and 8-storey buildings. This project will be overseen by the city’s deputy mayor, Tigran Avinyan. The buildings will be built using prefab technology, as evidenced by photos shared on Facebook by activist Artur Chakhoyan. Chakhoyan has also posted pictures of the project, including an architectural plan and a photomontage of the “moved” building. He highlighted that the construction project was personally approved by Levon Hovhannisyan himself.
