“United Nations Seeks to Mediate Iran-Armenia Dialogue Amid Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict, US Commander Reveals”

The United Nations is working to facilitate dialogue between Iran and Armenia in light of the recent escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, according to Michael K. Guillan, the commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM). During a press conference in Washington, Guillan stated that the United Nations seeks to engage in discussions with Iran and distance itself from the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. He further mentioned that the American military operations in Iraq and Syria have not been affected by the conflict in the past 32 days. Additionally, Guillan expressed his belief that Iran is also aiming to engage in direct dialogue with the United States concerning the current situation.
