It was evident that he had encountered his brother Arthur on the street that day – Arthur was 26 years old at the time. Based on the last photo taken before the tragedy, it appears that Maksarov, the assailant, repeatedly struck Levan in the chest, left side, and right leg. Unfortunately, Arthur himself passed away in 2012 under circumstances related to his own family in the city of Suhum.
