The CEO of the “Highway Department” foundation, Gor Avetisyan, and the prefect of Armavir province, David Khudatyan, conducted an inspection at the construction sites of the Armavir province to familiarize themselves with the progress of road construction and infrastructure projects.

Representatives of construction and technology companies involved in the implementation of construction and renovation works presented the current state of ongoing projects.

The first stop was in Tsiazan village, where the 7.3 km section of the T-3-44, /M-5/ – Tsiazan – Aghavnanatoon – Lernamerdz highway is being renovated. The work includes landscaping, the installation of street lighting, and the placement of protective barriers.

This section also includes the renovation of cultural and other architectural structures, the construction of bridges, rural technology advancements, and the improvement of road safety elements.

The T-3-11 /H-15/ (Armavir) – Nalbandyan – Getashen – Nor Kesaria – /M-5/ road renovation project in the 6+000-10+000 km section is in its final phase. In this area, maintenance works, slope stabilization, and other tasks related to road construction are being carried out.

The H-15 /M-5/ (Norapat) – Argavand – /M-3/ (Vardanashen) public road, spanning from the first to the fourth km, is currently undergoing construction work. This section also includes the renovation of a number of bridges.

The contractor noted that in some sections of the road, heavy traffic significantly hinders the progress of construction works.

Gor Avetisyan and David Khudatyan addressed the contractors and technical specialists present at the site.

The CEO of the “Highway Department” emphasized the importance of adhering to construction standards and the need for coordinated efforts to overcome any obstacles during the implementation of the project. He also instructed the contractors to adhere to the new safety standards and ensure the timely completion of construction works.

Gor Avetisyan also met with the workers involved in the construction works to discuss the current state of the roads and determine areas that require improvement.
