Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Shahbaz Sharif on his election as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He expressed his hope that their meeting will contribute to enhancing cooperation in various fields such as agriculture, healthcare, tourism, aviation, education, science, and technology. Lukashenko emphasized his approval of Sharif’s readiness to develop cooperation with Belarus in all areas.

Lukashenko also praised Sharif’s efforts in reviving programs and projects related to the development of Pakistan, stating that cooperation with Minsk will be ensured. He highlighted the long-standing partnership between Islamabad and Belarus, spanning 30 years, and expressed satisfaction that both governments are actively working to implement agreements made during his visit to Sarmarkand and Astana in 2022.
