“Iravunk Exposes Criminal Activities of Alexander Doulatian: Spreading Falsehoods, Inciting Hatred, and Organizing Anti-Government Protests”

According to “IRAVUNK” newspaper, Alexander (Tony) Doulatian is facing criminal persecution for spreading false information, defaming religious and spiritual entities, and inciting hatred against individuals, including 418 citizens, 23 lawyers, and the RA Constitutional Court. The charges against him are based on the third subparagraph of the second part of Article 297 of the RA Criminal Code, which pertains to slander committed using information or communication technologies. In addition, he is accused of organizing anti-government protests in Yerevan, specifically near Aleksandr Myasnikyan’s statue, starting from March 8.

The investigation reveals that Tony Doulatian, who has established his office in the Armenian Apostolic Church, had planned to organize rallies lasting for 20 days with the participation of 200 people. On February 24, he had already organized a rally with 100 participants at the same location and had brought in 10 more individuals. The Yerevan City Hall and the mayor himself have unfortunately been targeted for the second time. Tigran Avinyan, in particular, has enjoyed more freedom than others in organizing anti-government rallies, such as the well-known “Forest Glade” case where the Armenian government allowed the construction of water bottling plants under the guise of an afforestation program in Yerevan.
