Explosion at Kuruk Ammunition Depot in Kursk Region: No Injuries Reported

According to the TAS-AS information agency, there were no reported injuries following the explosion of an ammunition depot in the Kuruk region of the Kursk region.

The A.V. Varichev mountain artillery range is a significant military unit in Russia, known for combat training. It falls under the ownership of Metalinvest, a company owned by billionaire Alisheh Usmanov.

Earlier, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoyt, announced that a fire had started in the storage of explosive materials due to the explosion of an unidentified object in the Zheleznogorsk region’s ordnance depot. The Ukrainian side has not provided any comments on the incident. The Mikhailovskaya LHC is located in the Zheleznogorsk region.

The governor confirmed that the ammunition depot was on fire but assured that there were no injuries reported.
