Russian partners have denied the reports that Russia plans to restrict the passage of Armenian cars through the Upper Lars checkpoint from March 6. In an interview on March 5, Vahan Hakobyan, a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, discussed this matter with NEWS.am. “I am aware of the information being circulated by the media, but our Russian partners have stated that there have been no negotiations or decisions regarding this issue. They have emphasized that they were hearing about it for the first time,” Hakobyan clarified. He further added that there are currently no restrictions in place, the border remains open, and vehicles continue to cross as usual.
