“Prime Minister Pashinyan Opposes Unilateral Government, Emphasizes Importance of Consent in Armenia’s Leadership”

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, recently stated in an interview that he does not support the establishment of a government in Armenia without the consent of its people. He emphasized that he cannot imagine a scenario where Armenia, with its own unique history, would join a government unilaterally, unless it is the will of the country’s leadership. In February, the President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, announced that in 2021, the idea of forming a unified government in Armenia was abandoned.
