“Yerevan’s Iconic Cascade Complex Reopens After Over a Decade of Closure, Promising a Stunning Transformation”

Last week, the upper part of the Cascade complex in Yerevan was reopened after being closed for approximately 11.5 years. This announcement was made by the Mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Marutyan, during a regular session of the government on March 4.

Marutyan explained that construction in that section had been at a standstill for several years. He also stated that the Municipality will soon be implementing a large-scale program in this section, which will greatly improve the overall appearance and experience for the residents and visitors of Yerevan.

Additionally, Marutyan informed that he had a meeting with French architect Willemot last week and invited him to visit the Cascade complex. During the meeting, they reached an agreement for Willemot to provide free expertise and proposals for solutions that need to be further discussed and considered.
