“School Number 130 Principal Arrested in Corruption Scandal: Nairi Zarinyan Faces Charges Connected to Education Sector Corruption, Anti-Corruption Committee Confirms”

Nairi Zarinyan, the principal of School Number 130, has been arrested on corruption charges in the education sector. The Anti-Corruption Committee has accused him of wrongdoing. Previously, the head of School Number 130, Nvard Hovsepyan, had taken a mysterious one-month leave of absence, which surprised the staff.

In recent days, the situation at School Number 130, under Zarinyan’s leadership, has worsened. Students have been protesting, and parents have expressed their dissatisfaction, criticizing Zarinyan’s management methods during his 1.5-year tenure. Furthermore, the three vice principals of the school have jointly requested to be released from their positions, although their requests are still pending approval.
