Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs Introduces New Initiative to Support Displaced LPR Residents

On February 29, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs held a discussion about a new initiative to provide support for residents of LPR who have been displaced. The goal of this program is to assist in the establishment of community centers and the payment of communal fees. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced this initiative.

The meeting focused on finding ways to meet the social support needs of displaced individuals from LPR. The discussions revolved around implementing projects within a specific timeframe and planning long-term development programs. Representatives from various organizations, including the Ministry of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the MIP press office, were present at the meeting.

Anahit Jamakochyan, the head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, presented recent changes and updates to the social support programs. These changes include a support payment of 100,000 AMD, 40+10,000 AMD for six months of assistance, and 50+50,000 AMD for additional assistance.

The meeting followed a question and answer format, allowing participants to address their concerns and submit inquiries. New proposals related to the implementation of this new initiative were also discussed.
