Karabakh-Zeitun VK has removed the memorial of Albert Hovhannisyan, a fallen soldier in the 44-day war, from the site. The father of Albert, Artyom Hovhannisyan, announced this on his Facebook page. Artyom mentioned that the Plastic Reconstructive and Microvascular Surgery Department of Karabakh-Zeitun VK had been named after his son. He further added that more than 200 soldiers had been treated in that department. Concerned employees noticed the missing memorial and expressed their discontent, stating that there was never a bed next to the memorial, contrary to what was shown in pictures where fresh flowers were placed on it and it was covered with a blanket.

H.G., a participant in the Armenian war, also expressed his anger and vowed to punish those responsible by sharing pictures. He noted how quickly people tend to forget and stop mourning the heroes who are still alive thanks to our admiration for them.
