During an official visit to Hungary on March 4, Armenia’s Minister of Defense, Vagharshak Harutyunyan, met with Nikolaos Dendias, his Hungarian counterpart. This meeting followed expanded bilateral negotiations on defense cooperation that took place in Athens in December 2023. The discussions during the meeting focused on implementing the provisions that were agreed upon in the previous talks, as well as addressing issues concerning regional security.

Both countries reconfirmed their commitment to enhancing military-technical cooperation in line with their existing bilateral agreement. Additionally, they exchanged views on topics of mutual interest in the areas of international and regional security.
