An accusation has been made against two members of the activist group This Is Rigged for their disrespectful behavior towards Queen Victoria of Great Britain. According to PA Media, the incident occurred when they splashed her statue with milkshakes and made a nonsensical statement during an event at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow.

The individuals involved in this incident are identified as 30-year-old Sorcha Ní Mháirtín and 23-year-old Hannah Taylor, both members of This Is Rigged. Interestingly, they chose to carry out their disruptive action in front of a soup kitchen that provides food for the homeless.

This Is Rigged explained that their protest was directed at the rising prices of children’s food in supermarkets, up until March 2021. Additionally, they expressed their disagreement with the financial support provided by the Scottish government and the implementation of a centralized food center for every 500 households in Scotland.

These events surrounding This Is Rigged and their protest against Queen Victoria’s statue have gained attention even beyond the borders of Britain, as reported by NEWS.am.
