Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of Russia Today, released the audio recordings on her Telegram channel, providing a description of the operation. However, Reuters, who listened to the 38-minute recording, was unable to independently confirm its authenticity. The conversation among the participants in the phone call revolves around the potential delivery of Taurus long-range missiles to Ukraine, a concept that Olf Scholz had previously denied. The discussion also involves the preparation of Ukrainian military forces and potential military objectives. The Russian embassy in Berlin has not responded to requests for comment regarding the allegations mentioned in the controversial news reports sent by email.
