On March 2, at 14:20, the emergency center of the Lori regional administration received a distress call reporting a fire in the outskirts of Arjavit village. The fire had spread to houses and grasslands in the area. The Rescue Service quickly took control of the situation and carried out an on-site assessment.

The assessment revealed that the fire originated in one of the houses on 5th street and then spread to a neighboring unoccupied building. Fortunately, the fire was contained by 14:45 and completely extinguished by 15:23. However, both the unoccupied building, which was approximately 80 square meters, and the surrounding grassland, estimated to be around 2000 square meters, were affected by the fire.
