“Armenia’s Spokeswoman Reveals Stalled Progress in Armenian-Turkish Relations: Will Turkey Take Action?”

The spokeswoman of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Ruben Rubinyan, recently gave an interview to Turkish CNNturk where she discussed the regulation of relations between Armenia and Turkey. Rubinyan provided official information about the ongoing Armenian-Turkish negotiations, mentioning that her last official meeting with her Turkish counterpart took place 1.5 years ago in Vienna. During this meeting, certain decisions were made to open the Armenian-Turkish border for citizens of third countries and for researchers with academic credentials. Unfortunately, the Turkish side has yet to take any steps in this regard.

“We are fully prepared to regulate Armenian-Turkish relations, but it ultimately depends on the political will of the Turkish side. If they possess the necessary will, we can move forward with the regulation process today,” stated Ruben Rubinyan during the interview.
