U.S. Ambassador John Blixen has emphasized the importance of not allowing aggression to go unanswered, especially in light of Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine. During an interview with Univision, Blixen stated that understanding the potential consequences of aggression and taking action to suppress it is crucial in preventing a cascade of similar acts. He highlighted the many countries that are supporting and protecting Ukraine, emphasizing the necessity of building a strong government, military, economic, social, and political platform in the country. Blixen also called for additional assistance from Congress, including $60 million in military and construction equipment to support Ukraine, which would also benefit the American industry by creating jobs.
