Oil Prices Buck Previous Trend, Edge Slightly Lower on Thursday

The price of oil experienced a rise on Thursday, deviating from its previous trends. On the London ICE Futures exchange, the April futures of Brent oil were valued at $83.62 per barrel, representing a slight decrease of $0.06 (0.07 percent) from the previous closing. In contrast, these contracts had increased by $0.03 the day before, reaching $83.68 per barrel.

Meanwhile, the price of WTI oil futures for April on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) saw a slight increase of $0.02 (0.03 percent), totaling $78.52 per barrel. The previous contracts had shown a growth of $0.33 (0.4 percent), reaching $78.54 per barrel.
