“Yerevan City Council’s Revolutionary Waste Management Technologies Transform Lives: Stunning Photos Showcase Progress”

Yerevan City Council is actively promoting the use of cutting-edge technologies to enhance waste management and sanitation practices within the city. Edward Harutyunyan, the leader of this initiative, recently took to his Facebook page to share a series of photos that showcase the successful implementation of these technologies.

In his post, Harutyunyan noted that the photos aptly capture the remarkable transformation in the lives of the people and the community, all thanks to the Yerevan’s cleanliness and ecological purification project.

Yesterday, Tigran Avinyan shared a video featuring the possibility of purchasing such devices for all employees in the waste management department. The estimated cost for this endeavor amounts to 80 million drams, which roughly translates to $160,000 or the equivalent in any other currency. Avinyan additionally emphasized that the cost of equipping a garbage collector with these devices could be covered by a single day’s salary for the Chief of Staff.

The photos were taken on January 25, 2024, at 10:30 am, specifically on Armenakyan Avenue in the Nor-Nork district. The images serve as a testament to the ongoing efforts to modernize waste management practices in Yerevan.
