On January 24th, tragedy struck in Yerevan as a swan and its cygnets were discovered in a helpless state near the pond in Isakov Park, according to Shamshyan.com. The cygnets, unfortunately, had both of their feet injured, presumably from being hit by a car that quickly fled the scene.

The hotel employees, who witnessed the distressed swan and cygnets, were the first to take action by moving them to a safer location. However, the poor condition of the cygnets requires immediate medical attention.

Presently, wildlife officials in Armenia are working tirelessly to determine the appropriate course of action in order to rescue and provide necessary treatment for the swan and its cygnets. Their ultimate goal is to ensure the well-being of these majestic creatures.

This incident serves as a somber reminder of the importance of being mindful and considerate towards our wildlife. Hopefully, with the combined efforts of concerned authorities and compassionate individuals, the swan and its cygnets will be restored to health and be able to thrive once again.
