The MTS company has successfully completed the transfer of all its shares in the Republic of Armenia to Fedilco Group Limited, a company based in Cyprus. This significant announcement was made by MTS’s mother company.

The transaction involved MTS’s subsidiary, “MTS Armenia” CJSC, which operates under the trade name Viva-MTS. The sale of securities was carried out with Fedilco Group Limited, as stated in the official statement by MTS’s mother company.

In addition to the transfer of shares, the transaction also included the inclusion of the “MobiDram” payment system. As a subsidiary of “MTS Armenia” CJSC, the “MobiDram” payment system offers financial services in the Armenian market. However, specific details regarding the amount of the transaction and the services provided by the mother company have not been disclosed.

MTS has assured that all necessary corporate approvals have been obtained for the transaction, along with the required regulatory approvals from the bodies overseeing the activities carried out in the Republic of Armenia.
