Hraparak newspaper reports that the CSTO allies have expressed their demand for a new definition of a military conflict. However, no such demand has been received from Aliyev. Our sources in the military field suggest that Aliyev has included this demand in the draft of the agreement on ceasefire. The newspaper also highlights the importance of Armenia’s internal daily life aligning with the demands of the agreement in order to avoid conflicting territorial issues.

It is worth noting that the new definition of the agreement has been accepted by the general public. It is necessary to discuss this definition with at least half of the participants in the public process, but not less than 1/4 of the citizens who have the right to participate in the process. This includes Nikol Pashinyan and his team, who obtained the right through the previous elections. The CSTO received 688 thousand votes, meaning that at least 647 thousand people should participate in the discussion of the issue. The authorities are already discussing the possibility of “purging” the registrants.

It is important to highlight that the objective of the amendment is to have a new definition without changing the existing one. The aim is to remove the link to the statement of the constitutional law from the criminal code. It should be noted that the amendment is non-editable, and if the new definition is accepted, a new statement can be written.
