Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Ararat Mirzoyan, announced on January 23rd that the process of regulating relations with Azerbaijan is a challenging task that requires significant changes. This issue has been under discussion since 2018, after a change in government. Mirzoyan emphasized that the regulation of relations is a highly debated topic in Armenia. In response to whether there has been progress in this area, the Foreign Minister replied, “To answer briefly, no.”

It is important to note that the issue of regulation is tied to the declaration of Armenia’s independence, while the final clause pertains to the matter of Artsakh.
