The European Union is expressing its concerns over the situation in the Armenian territory, as announced by President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. Any breach of the ceasefire by Azerbaijan will result in severe consequences, stated Joseph Borel, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, during his visit to Brussels.

“The territorial conflicts in Aliyev’s region are causing significant distress. Any violation of the ceasefire in Armenia and its self-defense will lead to grave repercussions with Azerbaijan,” he revealed.
