“Chattanooga Woman Turns 110, Celebrates a Life Filled with Love and Gratitude”

The 110-year-old American resident, Telma May Kirby Little, celebrated her birthday with her family in Chattanooga, Tennessee on January 17. She expressed gratitude for being saved from difficult circumstances and for living to the age of 110. Little lives with a large number of relatives including four children, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and twenty grandchildren. She attributes her longevity to a simple lifestyle, which includes abstaining from alcohol and smoking, getting seven hours of sleep, and not worrying about insignificant things. Born in 1914, Little spent her youth working on a farm and later opened a boarding house with her husband. They have a total of 70 children and grandchildren.
