“Prime Minister Ghazaryan Emphasizes Importance of Strengthening Security in Meeting with National Security Service”

On January 19, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Vahe Ghazaryan, held a meeting with the internal security and counterintelligence department of the National Security Service (NSS). The main focus of the meeting was to emphasize the importance of carrying out daily work efficiently. This includes enhancing security in the administration and related services, detecting and preventing external threats, and ensuring appropriate consequences. During the meeting, Prime Minister Vahe Ghazaryan stressed the need for zero tolerance towards any violations in the services. Each counterintelligence operation should be evaluated based on its own outcomes.

Furthermore, Vaghanak Martirosyan, the Head of the NSS Internal Security and Counterintelligence Department, presented the department’s accomplishments on behalf of the administration.

In his final remarks, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the effective work carried out and emphasized the necessity of avoiding complacency or negligence in the daily tasks. The results of this work should be significantly improved, taking into account the revelations of violations and counterintelligence cases.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the NSS Director honored the Prime Minister with a commemorative medal in recognition of his outstanding service.
