“National Security Service Uncovers 52 Crimes, Including Drug Trafficking, Weapon Possession, and Human Trafficking”

The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia has announced that they have revealed 52 cases of crime, 2 of which were previously committed. Among these cases, there were 7 related to drug trafficking, 5 related to possession and distribution of weapons, and 3 related to human trafficking, domestic violence, and abuse. Additionally, there were 2 cases of money laundering, financial fraud, physical violence, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, corruption, automative industry, computer hacking, mental health, collection of personal information, release from custody, attempt to breach public order, mental illness causing public danger, poisoning or contamination of water resources, human or animal poisoning, maximum penalty for drug trafficking, and sexual exploitation of a minor under 16 years of age.

During this investigation, 8 individuals were apprehended, while 1 person was released on bail. There were also 3 cases of attempted murder. In addition, a previously committed crime of possession and distribution of weapons and drug trafficking was also revealed. As part of the operation, 6 checkpoints were established, resulting in 1 person being killed and 8 others sustaining various bodily injuries.
