The Armenian National Cinema Academy “Anahit” announced that it will be hosting the Armenian film day on April 16th in Yerevan. This event will provide a platform for filmmakers to showcase their work and compete in various categories. The competition includes awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Opera Singer, Best Cinematographer, Best Painter, Best Composer, Best Sound Director, Best Screenwriter, Best Animated Film, and Best Short Film.

According to the information provided by the Armenian National Cinema Academy, only films produced between 2022 and 2023 are eligible for participation in the competition. Filmmakers can submit their entries from January 19th to February 29th. This ensures that recent and noteworthy films have the opportunity to be recognized and celebrated during the event.
