“Excessive Catch: 42-year-old Caught with 250kg of Fish near Lake Sevan during Water Supply Network Maintenance”

Until January 20, the water supply networks in Lake Sevan will be undergoing extensive maintenance to prevent the accumulation of sediment in the pipes. These measures aim to ensure a clean and efficient water supply for the area. As a result of this maintenance, important discoveries have been made, with the most significant one occurring on January 18.

Yesterday at 8 am, near the village of Artanish in the vicinity of Artanish, a 42-year-old resident of the city of Sevan was stopped for inspection while driving an “Opel” vehicle. During the inspection, it was found that the car contained 250 kilograms of fish, exceeding the permissible limit of 100 kilograms. The driver claimed that he caught the fish with the intention of reselling it.

The vehicle was then transported to the storage area of the water authority in Jamburage, and the relevant documents were forwarded to the investigative department of Sevan. Currently, investigations are underway to determine the full details of the incident.

This news highlights the ongoing maintenance efforts in Lake Sevan and the importance of adhering to regulations regarding the transportation and sale of fish. It serves as a reminder of the measures taken to preserve the integrity of the water supply and protect the ecosystem of the lake.
