The expansion of Armenia-EU partnership holds great promise for improving the living conditions and safety of our citizens, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On January 19, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, announced a significant development in the Armenia-EU partnership during a joint statement with the Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia. Mirzoyan highlighted the comprehensive review of the entire period of Armenia-EU relations, encompassing socio-political transformations, public opinion convergence, visa liberalization promotion, economic cooperation, and security issues. Notably, this expansion brings forth new opportunities such as the potential for an EU evaluation mission in Armenia and a dialogue on security matters.

During the discussions held on this occasion, cooperation in a multitude of fields was extensively explored, with particular emphasis on inter-parliamentary collaboration and increased participation in multilateral platforms by both Armenia and Georgia.
