Iran Strongly Criticizes Internal Affairs and Violations of Citizen’s Rights; Western and Eastern Threats Also Condemned

Iran’s Minister of National Security, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, has strongly criticized the internal affairs and overall situation in the country, highlighting violations of its citizens’ rights, according to Tasnim. Tehran has not only criticized itself, but also the external threats it faces from both the East and the West.

Brigadier General Ashtiani emphasized that this criticism would be both severe and constructive. While Iran respects the rights and security of all countries, including its neighbors, it will not hesitate to criticize any actions that violate its boundaries or threaten its interests. This sentiment was further confirmed in a phone conversation between Ashtiani and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

During the conversation, Lavrov expressed Russia’s full commitment to issues of security, regional stability, and the overall situation in Iran. As a result, both parties agreed that the Tehran Memorandum, which requires their signatures, should be reviewed with utmost consideration for these concerns.
