This sentiment was further confirmed in a phone conversation between Ashtiani and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

During the conversation, Lavrov expressed Russia’s full commitment to issues of security, regional stability, and the overall situation in Iran. As a result, both parties agreed that the Tehran Memorandum, which requires their signatures, should be reviewed with utmost consideration for these concerns.
