Iran has asserted its right to respond to the conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, as stated by Javad Abbasi Jalali, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Iran. This statement was published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. Jalali, who is also the Commander of Iran’s Armed Forces’ Khatam ol-Anbia, highlighted that international organizations have confirmed the spillage of the conflict into neighboring territories. Reportedly, Iran maintains its right to retaliate against these provocative actions. Jalali further expressed his concern regarding Azerbaijan and Turkey’s use of force, which he deemed unacceptable due to its violation of Iran’s territorial integrity and international rights. Additionally, he emphasized the need for collective and organized efforts to combat terrorism, a common threat in the region.
